Real People Media is pleased to announce that we have received a minigrant for $4,000 from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council and Copper Country Arts Council for the production of two shows (four episodes) of 2024 season of The Red Jacket Jamboree. Since 2017 the MACC has helped us record 60 hourlong episodes of this radio variety show which shares songs, stories, history and music from Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula and beyond. Not only does the show add to the cultural vibrancy of our community, it generates income for Michigan artists and small businesses in our community. The Red Jacket Jamboree is heard on public radio networks in Michigan and distributed through PRX radio exchange. Thank you to the MACC and the residents of Michigan.
