the Copper Cats is comprised of four of the top Jazz recording artists in the Midwest! Directed by guitarist Jerry Younce, the quartet includes internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Bill Carrothers, drummer Devin Drobka and bassist Clay Schaub. Hosted by Lena Dorey and Martin Achatz, two-time Poet Laureate of the Upper Peninsula, the show also includes comedy by the Red Jacket Radio Actors, history and guest storytellers. |

Audience favorite, Julie McIntosh returns to The Red Jacket Jamboree for her third public performance. Acclaimed for her soulful blues and jazz recordings, Julie will be our guest vocalist for two amazing shows "Ellington Visits the UP" And "Let it Shine" which celebrates the Keweenaw's copper mining history.

Two hour-long episodes are recorded per show.
A 15-minute intermission between episodes. Guests are asked to be in their seats 5-minutes before the start of the show. Please indicate what row and section you'd like to be in at the time of ticket purchase. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. We can not promise seating but we'll do our best! Locations of musicians are indicated on the seating chart.
