Appearing at The Red Jacket Jamboree begins the same way for all of our guest artists. We need to hear your music and watch a live performance video. We are looking for solo and duo acts which are interested in sharing the stage with the Copper Cats, the RJJ's house band. We also often ask guest performers to take part in the show's original sketches, so showing your theatrical side can be favorable.
Interested musicians should send an email to email@example.com with "Red Jacket Jamboree Guest Performer - (your band name) Please include a link to your website, facebook page, and 2-3 live performance videos. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
Please give us time to check out your work. We listen to everything we receive, so it can take a while to get around to it all. If both the music director and artistic director like what they hear, and it feels right for the show, and if he can find an episode where your music will fit, then we will be in touch. It takes a lot of effort to coordinate musicians to the right episode.
We are looking for storytellers who share personal stories that will resonate with our live audience and RADIO listeners. Our live audience can appreciate hand gestures, facial expressions, etc. but you must be able to tell a story to our radio audience. Interested storytellers should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and put Guest Storyteller - (your last name) in the header. Please include a link to a couple of performance videos plus a sample of possible stories that you may like to tell (it could be just one!) You will receive confirmation that we received your email. We should be able to respond to you within 30-60 days.
For those interested in being on the show!
Do you have a story to tell but not sure how to do it? This workshop is for you! We want to help develop storytellers for our show. Take this workshop with Pete Griffin.
